  • Please someone help me!

I have a question...

Now I play Iowa since 2 months, I have excelent engys/reps/etc etc.

My gunners:

lvl 94 BVE (160 vets) base 11/12 RLD classed.

I still have a bad spread, while the ability is OK, they are classed on time, no problems.
But when Shooting the shells go around everywhere...

Now I end up with 10k attack a game, and IF i hit something..... like 3-4 shells.

What do I have to do? buy 12/11 BVE overvetted??

Because If i shoot right up north/south/west/east They do pretty-well, but sometimes the spread is worse, other time its perfect.
But if im in battle & navigate, and fire (like firing North-west) my spread is terrible.

So how do those Montys all have a nice spread?

no such thing as "better"

if u can aa well and still contribute in the front line, yeah sure put aa on. (5" mark38 Ls)
if not, 2 reps.

hope you get your average in the iowa up to 100k first

yeah aa isnt exactly useful in bb rooms if the other team controls the scouts well.

useful for gb tho.

Matters of preference.

USN AA is on the edge as its good, but not quite good enough to the point that sacrifying it for extra support would be stupid.

Some people can't stand not having AA or HH. I personnaly do not bother with dedicated AA on my USN BB, altough I have lvl 70 or so rld gunners if I so wish to use it. And I can't remember the last time I ran AA on a USN BB.

Its a matter of choice. Do you feel when you have AA on that its useful? Do you feel naked when you remove it? Do you feel the extra SD (if appliable), rep rate you gain are better than the protection AA gives you?

Well, last time there was a squad of 10-15 db's ahead of me, i took out at least 6-7 of em with my AA, great rld and lvl 83 (bve) for only 20M. classed rld rld rld :)


But yeah, I feel safer with AA, but HH isn't wrong too.
I just cant make a choise :P AA/HH/Rep.

Rep falls off, because it costs an extra 120M to buy....

Obviously, if you can't buy and don't want to level 2 extra reps, stick with the AA. They won't pop up out of nowhere. If you feel safer with AA, keep it. nothing stops you from switching the AA guns for HH when you wish, since USN use regulars gunners to AA, you keep the HH qualification.

Sounds the best for me, but im not sure i would do 4 engy/3 rep :P

Might also buy a better scout, mine sucks

although....iowa is pro at dodging dbs......something you cant really do on the monty
