I have a question...
Now I play Iowa since 2 months, I have excelent engys/reps/etc etc.
My gunners:
lvl 94 BVE (160 vets) base 11/12 RLD classed.
I still have a bad spread, while the ability is OK, they are classed on time, no problems.
But when Shooting the shells go around everywhere...
Now I end up with 10k attack a game, and IF i hit something..... like 3-4 shells.
What do I have to do? buy 12/11 BVE overvetted??
Because If i shoot right up north/south/west/east They do pretty-well, but sometimes the spread is worse, other time its perfect.
But if im in battle & navigate, and fire (like firing North-west) my spread is terrible.
So how do those Montys all have a nice spread?

.....same size? iowa is much skinnier in the rear. not to mention the small hitbox

u Oh, never mentioned it tbh.... But, Monty should be able to load better AA (more gunspace, and if im right it can mount the 6) Just make sure u got some FC :D I just lvled 97 thought, and 1 engy is 108, and others are 98+, reps are 97-99. Doing fine out here! How do I play monty, defensive, agressive, hit n run?

Don''t worry about the scout unless he's very under level. And Monty is a very versitile ship. I use mine as a rusher. With 40 knots and huge damage I just under range and push through and get out. Some people just run their monties. Just wait and see. I classed my gunners rld-rld-acc their 10/10 and I get a very tight Monty spread at lvl 111.

How do I play monty, defensive, agressive, hit n run?
The AA guns stays the same, 6" load really not much ammo unless I'm mistaken, and still aint that useful to take waves of bombers down. Stick to 3/70 mk 23 N or 5/38 mk 38 L. FC is for lolz, nothing else much, Monty plays the line, and when able tries to finish the fight by one well placed salvo. Personally I'm quite aggressive in it.

@the monty playstyle piece.... My play style in the monty is push till i get a good salvo hit on me then fall back rep. While i'm falling back i usually get chased and i use the 45's to the maximum advantage due to people being tards. Now running/falling back the monty's spread becomes a bit crappy but it is still usable.
Every BB player developp his own style. Mine is on the aggressive side, even with the H44.

I'd advise not to go under 3 reps. My crew advice is for any nations : 4 engie 3 rep minimum 1 choice rep/engy 1 scout 2 AA OR 1 rep 1 engy extra. Suggested full support setup 6/4. I've seen someone who made a UK crew out of elites repair and capped the rep with only 2 reps. Everything BVEd like mad and 8 engies. But you really need to go on the overkill to do so.

Ok, I currently have:
1 scout
4 engys
2 reps
And i have like ~100M, which will be 150M, but i want to spend 100M max.
I use T slots for AA.
So a support setup would be
1 scout
4 engy
3 rep ?
