SS5s just released in KR server! You guys may have already seen the image, but not the details of the subs.

***These details may be different when SDE releases them in NFNA***
***I will just skip the non-important factors such as Structural strength, AAW, FCS***
***For Engine, since SDE added new engines for SS5s, I will not put them down here***

Nothing to say... just... I saw a KM Sub ( I think it was KM, if not.. a US) Carring DCs and killed a BB with the DCs...

So, Now SS5 will carry Prem HHs... Rocket Launchers in their back and Attomic Bombs in their front...

sub with dcs and phhs, what are u smoking. u cant change weapons on subs.

do you mean the KM SS1 which can carry mines?

are you getting DC and mines mixed up?

I saw, what i Saw... A KM sub Shooting torps to an AD... AD got like 2k DP left... after that.. Subs pop Up.. Throw the DCs and kills the AD... Funny thou...

all this omg 2 more sailors on board is stupid and not true.
KM loses 1 r-slot and gains 2 support slot makes +1 to me which is normal when u raise a tier
UK loses 1 t-slot and gains 2 support slot makes +1 to me which is normal when u raise a tier
USN gets +1 supportslots no other changes which is normal when u raise a tier
SN loses 1 r-slot and gains 1 support slot makes +-0 to me which is unusual when u raise a tier but well imo SN has too much crew on its ss4
MN gets +1 supportslots no other changes which is normal when u raise a tier
IJN gets +2support crew. the only ship raising by +2supports which is because u need a supportslot for aircrafts but debateable. the only one questionable.

so as u can see this +2 crew OMG! OP!!! whining is far from real

edit: btw here is a lot of talk how ss5 are but does anyone got a nfkr access or a ingame battlereport how they really play. How painfully RN/SN guns really are. if Gato got too much torps. if ijn ss5 is really used as carrier. if RN doesnt got too low number of torps. how fast they really are (everyone screams 40knots but noone really knows). Get real data/ ingame results then discuss/criticise.

We want balanced subs, not fictory easy mode machines.

Yes, it could be done but only with one type of sub and agains BB6 with especialy "good" setup...Try to do it with other than IJN SS4 and agains BB6 with 0,2 belt and some bulge...

I run the KM SS4 and the only time I have ever salvo sank a BB6 is if it was already on fire from being shelled from afar.

It takes me from 8-15 torpedoes to sink a healthy Kaiser, and that is with me chasing it and pumping reload, after reload. I've put 4 salvos (16 torps in QVs and they still have half a life).

This repeated nonsense about 1-shot sinkings of BB6 are the extreme rarity. In most cases, the BB6 was already smoking from enemy attacks.

The KM SS4's deck guns are vicious little machine guns from hell if you are nearby. I've sank many a smokin' heap of trash needing to be put away, including BBs. You may have witnessed a shredding.

I'm gonna miss my flak guns with the SS5...:-(

I seriously long for the introduction of SS5/6 cause it will seal the implosion of NF, especially when the majority of players still playing NF will be sub players, virtually nothing else. I applaud the awesome business model SDE has opted to run with. /s =.=
