Hello NavyField players & fleets,


 

If you didn't already notice the post about the fleet league rules then I will give you a brief update on what is happening.

The sign ups have now ended and I am starting on the fixtures for the Second Season.


 

Official Fleet League rules can be found in the link below, I am still changing it slightly to better occommodate the fleets and ensuring there is a good variety in the leagues setups.

BB rooms also got these desyncs but somehow they seem to occur much less and not that drastically.

 


T4s are ok. Their AP defence is way lower then the T3s. I would go as far as to say that T3s scouts and T4s are equally matched.

T4s may be faster, but the distance required for a fighter to get in range to kill it is less compared with T3s. Also T4s can't be flown at very low altitudes without risk dying at the hand of AAW.

I personally prefer T3s as they are fast enough and once in range, they tend to be harder to kill then T4s. So if the rule is going to make it easier to reff matches(especially with the majority not knowing how all the sprites look like), leave the limit be.

Firstly T4 was a mistake, I have changed it back to tier 3 :D I take full credit for that.

 

Secondly, I have finished the fixtures and we are ready to go once the server stability is back.

I can write just 1 proposition or many of them.
In short way (no matter what limits on plane tiers will be - we saw it in past and we will continue to see this rule broken by some of players). 

Of cource I don't need the T4 scouts, whatever u say the rule will be for BOTH teams, for me  the big  problem is THE LAW.

We will not start to cry during the game - WE DEMAND GAME STOPPED, "look there is AGAIN an poor T4 scout flying near T1 and T2 ones, at the right, no-on the left, again on the right..."
Noone needs that kind of victories to determine who's the best.

The problem with scouts is that 90% from the players&refs will have no time to spot, (and be 100% sure on their decision), in real fight the T4 scouts to give REAL and fair penalty during the match, especially the RM/SN/MN ones. The cries can start after the game. (depends of it's score). The winners will "pass-by" if oponents was cheating, the losers will desperately ask for analysing and give the victory to them because the rules was broken (NO REMATCH). 

That's all the lyrics but it is the truth.

When an single flying T5 scout can be easy spotted by it's speed, they are also seen in first place by players and only after their screams in chat - by the refs (some of them :)).
Assuming that some one will bring T4s.

T1,2,3,4 from 7 nati.ons = 29 types of scouts (IJN have 2 kind of T3 tier scouts),  on 2Dmap the difference between them is small pixels or colour wich can be spotted at most of the time ONLY on full  zooming. We have 22 players in team, 20 of them by default can use any kind of scouts. The refs  will have to watch at the planes all the time instead of another (much important) parts of their JOB.

(The rule - Tier 3 max) doesn't mean that all flying small pixels will be T3s, it can be T2 or T1 aswell (for example T1 scout at least have less load space and when meeting with fighters they are falling in the exactly same way - "enemy plane in sight - mayday mayday"). Even the T5 scouts are food vs controlled T3 fighters, by their speed-no, but in fact-yes).

- good luck with analysing tonns of screenshots after each played match (round) because i know  that THIS RULE for planes will be deffinetly "forgoten" by some players. Their kind are entering in the Mod organised rooms and all the times trying to sneak their 8" guns in room with 6" max (for example) - and the best part is that they are almost never spotted&penalised,  even those with small BB guns (11"+) can be seen only after the game starts :).

@andy,

I have something which will help the referees spot illegal planes so it shouldn't be a problem + every use of a restricted plan is a point deduction so if a team wants to use them then that could cost them the match.

andykorso, what was your suggestion? Remove Tier limits?

Have there been a lot of screenshots after previous tournaments?
IMHO, T4 scouts, T3 fighters and all sets of bombers - is the best option. T3 scouts - good option as well.
T5 - they are too fast and I disagree they are food for T3 fighters, if the scouts are controlled.

They problem that some players may use prohibited planes... yes, that's a problem. IMHO, at first, the warning (1, 2 or m.b. even 3) should be made if planes are spotted and reported to refs.
Then more serious punishments should be applied if rules are continuously broken. That should not ignored

sugestion is simple :) - make it T3 ONLY instead of (max T3)... then we can learn 7 types of scouts, job done. Let's play on the game and not "after" on the forums.

I have a ventrillo I can doante for FL if needed...
