  • Issue over KM Range Nerf... (and other issues?)

We all know KM has had it's range (possibly) nerfed from what it used to be. There
are those who think KM's range has been nerfed too much, and there are those that
think it's fine how it is. But all KM really seems to have going for it IS its range, and
maybe its speed (or atleast it used to have speed; i cant personally say anything
about the speed, since i havent really payed much attention to the speed compared
to other nations.)

So it's my suggestion for KM's range to be bumbed up a bit, becuase KM does
have the worst shell damage and spread, and all it has is its range. EDIT: IM more
towards other edits listed below, over the range, and either one of the fixes can
solve the possible issues.

BUT I CANNOT fully stand behind this, since I only have an H39 and have had the
H44 rental. But in the time i had the H44 rental, i noticed the range wasnt as good...
you should be able to out range a L2, monthy, or SY and not have them be able to
be in range with just a small movement up, OR barely moving at all.

SO, please give reasons and examples for WHY or WHY NOT KM's range is too
nerfed, and if you think KM's range needs to be bumped up a bit, reccomend it.

*side note: since i can't fully argue this point, there is no reason to flame, say
anything negative, or anything like that to me. Just give your reasons and examples
for or against the KM range nerf, and (if needed) argue your point's amongst the
others.*
*another side note: i have been more swaded to the turnning force, shell
damage/ shell damage inconsistancies being fixed, or speed being adjusted. If any
of those are adjusted, the range shouldn't be an issue. I will just keep the origional
idea for others.*

EDIT:
From what i have read, it seems to be a 50/50 split over the range issue compared
to the other nations. Some have quoted the skill needed to run KM, which is a valid
point. Km is harder to suceed in, and that could be the part of the issue. While
others have quoted how when facing another BB5 in an H44, they can be hit easily.
Which is another good point, if KM is supposed to have the best range, why doesn't
the H44 match up with that standard?

*The topic of shell damage has come up, which can be possibly
bumped up, or atleast discussed.

*The Topic of ship turnning force come up aswell, this can be discussed and possibly
changed aswell.

*The idea of increasing speed instead has been tossed arround aswell.

Range issue has been well covered. Try moving on to the other issues... like the
inconsistancies in the shell damage, turnning force, and possibly other issues?

lol dude everything should be BALANCED meaning that all the nations should be equall
difficulty in use..... like i said befoe that just an excuse for KM to be downsized, i just
love it when people say oh KM is hard mode then everyone will say all the nations are
balanced lol

Lordpret finally someone i can test this on, wanna meet me and we can put this to the
test? than finally these guys can hear what they dont wanna hear

Okay about the KM.

I think the KM are a very complicate ship class to use, it cannot be used for
everyone, the reason is basically this:

The ships are so strong but cannot use any kind of armor, the reson is because the
KM armor are so heavy and also the Engine are really sucks about the range.

I have my H44 lvl 110 with 18" the range are perfect even for the H39, I want
sugest to the KM players play more as your can does with the H39 to learn to use it,
with the H39 even BB6 need to be carefull is true u need shot a lot of times and
cannot kill anyone of only one shot but your can find a way that KM are very good
ships, however Navyfield should fix some small detaills.

1 the H 44 Canno thave 16'5 or 18" under teh real project it shoudl be 20" but
maybe not that much but NF should fix the damange per shell .

To all KM players remember:
H39 can defeat any other ship even bb6 but yours must be smart and have a lot
patience, the H 44 are amazing ship just need know how to use.

Recomendation:
IF YOU WILL NOT USE ELITE + BOOST SAILORS DON'T PLAY KM.

yeah you cannot compare bb2 guns on a bb1 to test its range against other bb2's.

i need someone from here -such as you- to do the test so me and YOU could come back
here and post results....... Do you really think me posting results will matter to you guys
at this point?
you meen H44 has slight range advantage, the ammount isnt worth :D about.

Djdeath what do you meen damage consistancy? that meen the ammount of damage
the shells do the damage deal to enemy ship is out of wack different per shell or the
ammount of damage recieved by shells? can you educate me on this?

Yes, the Bretagne can hold the BB2 guns with 2 binds of ammo. This is, as jhempsrt4
already pointed out, an MN issue, because that nation was taken straight from the Korean
servers without giving them the adjustments the other nations received during their time,
like no BBx+1 guns on BBx.

As for the BB5s. Yes, the static range differences are minimal, but nevertheless, they are
there and can be used to ones advantage. What the H44 really needs as the aforementioned
turning speed buff and a damage consistency fix.

Ok I will check it out. I have all those ships so it won't be much of a problem to check. But if the Bretagne
can indeed hold level 71 guns, that is a MN balance issue, not a KM.

u was talking about BB1s' range~ not BB1 gun range~ didn't ya?
besides, I guess the lvl 71 gun is a practical setup on MN BB1.

show me Bretagne with lvl 71 VS PPro with 11" second set N.

maybe I was wrong on their ranges =v= come on, try it. don't get lost.
seriously, I don't have exact data~:)


btw, and again~ I concern on BB5 more~

The Paris is a BB2. The second set N 11 inch guns are BB1 guns. You are asking me to compare a BB2 to a
BB1.
