  • Issue over KM Range Nerf... (and other issues?)

We all know KM has had it's range (possibly) nerfed from what it used to be. There
are those who think KM's range has been nerfed too much, and there are those that
think it's fine how it is. But all KM really seems to have going for it IS its range, and
maybe its speed (or atleast it used to have speed; i cant personally say anything
about the speed, since i havent really payed much attention to the speed compared
to other nations.)

So it's my suggestion for KM's range to be bumbed up a bit, becuase KM does
have the worst shell damage and spread, and all it has is its range. EDIT: IM more
towards other edits listed below, over the range, and either one of the fixes can
solve the possible issues.

BUT I CANNOT fully stand behind this, since I only have an H39 and have had the
H44 rental. But in the time i had the H44 rental, i noticed the range wasnt as good...
you should be able to out range a L2, monthy, or SY and not have them be able to
be in range with just a small movement up, OR barely moving at all.

SO, please give reasons and examples for WHY or WHY NOT KM's range is too
nerfed, and if you think KM's range needs to be bumped up a bit, reccomend it.

*side note: since i can't fully argue this point, there is no reason to flame, say
anything negative, or anything like that to me. Just give your reasons and examples
for or against the KM range nerf, and (if needed) argue your point's amongst the
others.*
*another side note: i have been more swaded to the turnning force, shell
damage/ shell damage inconsistancies being fixed, or speed being adjusted. If any
of those are adjusted, the range shouldn't be an issue. I will just keep the origional
idea for others.*

EDIT:
From what i have read, it seems to be a 50/50 split over the range issue compared
to the other nations. Some have quoted the skill needed to run KM, which is a valid
point. Km is harder to suceed in, and that could be the part of the issue. While
others have quoted how when facing another BB5 in an H44, they can be hit easily.
Which is another good point, if KM is supposed to have the best range, why doesn't
the H44 match up with that standard?

*The topic of shell damage has come up, which can be possibly
bumped up, or atleast discussed.

*The Topic of ship turnning force come up aswell, this can be discussed and possibly
changed aswell.

*The idea of increasing speed instead has been tossed arround aswell.

Range issue has been well covered. Try moving on to the other issues... like the
inconsistancies in the shell damage, turnning force, and possibly other issues?

So what your saying elisis is that the other bb5s are going to fast?? as they get to go
40, Althought i am on the same page as you are about the spread... matter of fact i
acctually love that idea i dont care about range much anymore... they all have pretty
much
the same(h44 gets an extra additional atom sizes arange increase). but i like the 18''
spread alot

I just think as i played in alot of battles i can see that once i become in range of any
other bb5 and i just go to the right just a small ammount to get in range but RIGHT
when i get in range the other bb5 (lion 2) has already shot and one shotted me. so the
lion 2 get uber RANGE and get to be able to have uber rushing abilities which it does
ive seen a lion 2 rush in and sink some bb's for real.

do you have problem with H44 range? whatever, that큦 nothing interesting at all, H44 range sucks,
everyone knows that, but you will find a lot of trolls, whos gonna keep telling you it isn큧...ignore
that, hate H44? join the other team, get a Lion 2, as easy as it really is...but don큧 cry when you get
to Queen Vic and find out your BB6 sucks in HA against rooms full of Kaisers/Nebbys...

It큦 just like that, UK ships owns GBs, it was like that for years and it will be like that in the future
too. KM ships are useful in battles, where you can use other BBs are meatshields. Put 20 vs 20 BBs
from same tier( BB5, or BB6) against in battle and you find out you can do just fine with Kaiser or H44,
use it in battles with few BBs on each side like GBs are and you gonna get 1 on 1 raped by AWed
ships or just ships, who can do more dmg at a time...meeting H44 means free food in GB unless I큟
completely blind or hes got a sub-fucker from his team near me. It큦 like that, be happy you were not
here when you had to play 11" KM BBs against Vanguards, cause that was uber pwnage...

Don't increase range, just increase shell weight by 15% so it can compete with other
BBs at their tier.

Also please use the search bar, im sure there are plenty of threads about this
before yours.

DJDeath~ I just commented on jhempsrt4's thought~
and to me, I don't really care that KM BB1 can't range MN BB1 in GB~

This is not a matter that which issue is belongs to which nation~
The "issue" is affecting other nations, including KM~
"Balance" is a matter that needs more than one side.
Of cause, maybe we can say fixing one nation (MN in this case) is much better than fixing other
4 nations. And that's it.

Anyway, back to H44~
What would be the acceptable "damage consistency" (maybe telling a average attack rate with
little standard deviation)? I have no idea on this one. I just think that the current damage is
more or less acceptable. Maybe also a spread buff on 18" /
For the speed oh H44~ Well, running 39 knt is too slow for the current ship stat. But running 40
knt would be too fast =v=. I am not really sure.

So, I agree that changing the turning force which would be the most appropriate buff. This
virtually give you "better" speed in the first contact and easier in sling shot.

just let new people add new imput, ideas, or whatever. and if you have an opinion
on say the turrning force, add it with the reason to why, or why not KM needs it
changed. (although it might be hard for people on the range issue)

That would be a good solution, but it might be difficult to have it happen, unless you
can get the person who did the original test to do it with you... But that's something
you should PM that person about. But for now, i would say, it would be best to
throw out opinions on the other possbile issues...

(although that might be hard, due to the way the talk has been going on this tread,
being centered arround the range)

or as good as people make the range seem for the h44.
acctually i would like to sit in the test

I have h44 and will participate and will get video of the whole thing

one thing i want people from here to sit in it too

I understand where your coming from... it's hard to believe something you didn't
personally witness.. Maybe if more people did that test and showed similar results,
then you would believe it?

But i never got a PM about testing it. my snow_ball account has been asleep yes,
but on my littlem account (the account you most likely talked to), i never got any
request for a testing of it. the only PM's i got from you where about your post in the
general section. SO idk =\ IT can also be possible that i didnt see the message if you
indeed sent one.. i could have been afk at the begining of a match and the counter
hid the message, or so on.

A note on making the tread- i basically made it because the issue arrose in battle,
and i agreed. because i had some practice with the H44, and realized the range
wasnt as good as it seemed like it should have been. And because i had the rental
H44, and i knew it wasnt as good as a regular H44, i more a less assumed the guns
where the right thing and should have had the same range. (and i believe they do.)

no i asked you if you wanted to sit in it, you said you was in GB2, i never said you had
an h44.

You made this thread cuz KM has a problem..... im here cuz i agree with that. and yes
the h44 turns slow as hell
