  • Issue over KM Range Nerf... (and other issues?)

We all know KM has had it's range (possibly) nerfed from what it used to be. There
are those who think KM's range has been nerfed too much, and there are those that
think it's fine how it is. But all KM really seems to have going for it IS its range, and
maybe its speed (or atleast it used to have speed; i cant personally say anything
about the speed, since i havent really payed much attention to the speed compared
to other nations.)

So it's my suggestion for KM's range to be bumbed up a bit, becuase KM does
have the worst shell damage and spread, and all it has is its range. EDIT: IM more
towards other edits listed below, over the range, and either one of the fixes can
solve the possible issues.

BUT I CANNOT fully stand behind this, since I only have an H39 and have had the
H44 rental. But in the time i had the H44 rental, i noticed the range wasnt as good...
you should be able to out range a L2, monthy, or SY and not have them be able to
be in range with just a small movement up, OR barely moving at all.

SO, please give reasons and examples for WHY or WHY NOT KM's range is too
nerfed, and if you think KM's range needs to be bumped up a bit, reccomend it.

*side note: since i can't fully argue this point, there is no reason to flame, say
anything negative, or anything like that to me. Just give your reasons and examples
for or against the KM range nerf, and (if needed) argue your point's amongst the
others.*
*another side note: i have been more swaded to the turnning force, shell
damage/ shell damage inconsistancies being fixed, or speed being adjusted. If any
of those are adjusted, the range shouldn't be an issue. I will just keep the origional
idea for others.*

EDIT:
From what i have read, it seems to be a 50/50 split over the range issue compared
to the other nations. Some have quoted the skill needed to run KM, which is a valid
point. Km is harder to suceed in, and that could be the part of the issue. While
others have quoted how when facing another BB5 in an H44, they can be hit easily.
Which is another good point, if KM is supposed to have the best range, why doesn't
the H44 match up with that standard?

*The topic of shell damage has come up, which can be possibly
bumped up, or atleast discussed.

*The Topic of ship turnning force come up aswell, this can be discussed and possibly
changed aswell.

*The idea of increasing speed instead has been tossed arround aswell.

Range issue has been well covered. Try moving on to the other issues... like the
inconsistancies in the shell damage, turnning force, and possibly other issues?

LOL your AP will never really work on a 39 knot L2. Not as well as HE anyway. LOL thatnks for the laughs this
morning, I needed it today.

If you AP a Lion 2 that's going 39kn, you're doing it wrong.

nice one, I have USN/UK/IJN and now start KM and have both PBB/PCA running, KM have some
worst bb5 (speed/size/fire power, only thing good is AA and little bit range)

and main reason ppl still play H44? Kaiser, that is what H44 should looks like, sweet AA,
strong body, awesome size, and finally a gun can bring the real pain and range.

FEW thing drag KM bb down, or they not compensate the stuff we lose.
designer think:

1)best ENG give KM the worst repair+big size+slow speed+worst ship strength.
2)best gunner give KM worst gun/spread/firepower
3)best range also give KM only work at max angle, and not that much shell.

hello? H44 is not 12 shell is 8, kaiser have 9 for c***stsake.
and UK 6 shell is little bit shorter than KM, but guess what? H44 will sunk if those 6
shell hit 2 times (almost dead) 1 shot pretty much took all SD, 2nd shot can either go
brown or red depend on full hit or not.

and notorious MONTY 1 salvo 12 shell sunk almost ANY BB in game, include H44.

Range they give just can't compensate the other ability, by give little more range than
now, or faster RLD for KM gun, or better spread, which can prevent KM BB being hard mode.

Edited main text to more suit how my look on the subject has changed, and to pull
away from supporting only the range buff. Im more towards either shell damage fix
(with possible inconsistancy fix), Turnning force buff, or speed to fix the issue with
the H44.

I should probably put in that the main issue is over the H44. But it might be too
hard to change, and part of me doesnt want to change it quite yet...

KM was my first line. I took it all the way to Kaiser. Yes, h44 is a pain in the butt but
I find the challenge very fun. It's also very nice knowing that you can stop any wave of
bombers that come for you easily.

My only suggestion on the H44 itself would be to make it faster. Everything else works
just fine in a "hard mode" respect.

what im trying to say is let the ennemy come at you, then fire just befor he come in
your range ( ist like when you try to shoot a duck you dont aim at the duck you aim
just couple inch beford ) whit pratice and good timing no monty or l2 gonna
outrange you .

let the ennemy come at you, fire step back and fire again, ist like any combat
defending is way more easy then attack and whit the 37 angle gun you hit fast and
you got the time to step back.

km is a hit and run nation if you play too aggresive your just free food in h44, and
when the ennemy dont move aa all planes around blind your ennemy and attak
him .

if you want to play agressive lvl up a l2 or a monty cause km need a lot of tactic and
timing. every one say km/ jap= nf hard mode

I know what your talking about, but thats not what im talking about. im not rushing im
just BARELY moving a slight angle to the right or a slight angle to the left when moving
north or south and they are just moving north or south too, im not rushing just trying to
use h44
range and just doesnt seem to help as they fire at the same time i do which meens we
both JUST got in the range a the same time

its rush not ruch

I just think as i played in alot of battles i can see that once i become in range of any
other bb5 and i just go to the right just a small ammount to get in range but RIGHT
when i get in range the other bb5 (lion 2) has already shot and one shotted me. so
the lion 2 get uber RANGE and get to be able to have uber rushing abilities which it
does ive seen a lion 2 rush in and sink some bb's for real

Do you know that whit all bb5 you cut your range when your ruch???

example: when you ruch a monty or a l2 (and the ennemy is not blind) the guys see
you commin and will fire just beford you get in range, cause whit the hang time of
shell the defender will always shoot firts and step back to stay out of your range.
That why you think every bb outrange you.

and btw only uber skilled ppl will try ruch a l2 or monty in a h44 the best way is to
slowly get to the battle line and try to hit and run, then if your lucky the ennemy will
try to cacht you, and you will have a huge range boost if your faster then your
ennemy . Most of km and jap bb driver use this tactic. Lol we all hate when the
ennemy run aways but whit some ship (like the h44) is the best tactic.

the h44 is not the best bb5 but if you use it the right way you will like your ship.

ehhh those threads are over i like to see a nice and fresh thread with new people with
different thoughts

and if shell weight was to be increase than so should the speed cuz once you increase
them shells you might lose speed
