As a cv player who has played all classes i can tell u why i dont play cv much
anymore with a list of reasons. Crew death is a large concern but not the main
issue. BB constant whining and gripping , flaming , trash talk is another large
concern but still not the main reason. The main reason i dont play cv is it just isnt fun
anymore because i have had to resort to a support ship that has to mainly scout
with my ftr and thats boring. In my opinion BB whining is justified a lot of times but
not always and dont look for that to change much. I feel crew death for cv needs to
be addressed and may help with bringing back some skillful cv drivers to the game.
If u look at the new cv drivers coming out of blitz nowadays they BW in blitz then
have a major change when coming into a GB2 setting and hafta learn all over again
to understand bb need them to scout sometimes. But at the same time BB need to
be more self supportive in scouting(another blitz problem not learning these tactics).
CV players have a multirole and experianced CV players realize this but if u make us
just a support ship thats just a big scout supplier it will continue downhill. Give
bombs back some bite so we can help with also destroying some ships which is fun.
BB need to realize how important we are and support us not just flame us but
realize we want to blow ships up too just like them to have fun and enjoy this game.
There is
also much more AA in the game now and a lot of it is very good now and a lot of it is
spam AA which kills all planes not just enemies which should be addressed because
losing planes to teams AA is a form of TKing. Sometimes it happens accidently but it
is happening way to frequent and some AA ships just dont care. As i said before i
have played all classes and have been on both sides of the fence as a frustated bb
wanting scouts when i cant due to ftr camping over me which requires assitance
from CV and AA ships and i have been the CV thats had to scout with my ftr for the
whole game due to BB screaming scout because they can't or dont know how i've
seen both. Or a fellow cv driver thats resorts to BWing the whole game and i hafta
or the game is lost. Like i stated earlier it ain't fun being a big scout supplier only!
Just another opinion but like everyone else I have one too.

as a cv driver i absolutely love spamming ftrs. it gives great support for the BBs (plus
it gets you in a good standing with others = your a preferred driver for the team).
But it seems like the credit rewards are lower. It may be because i have no prem but
20k personal nets me around 60k creds (using a lexy). That just seems
kinda low compared to the past when i was making 80k creds with a YT scoring
around 4-10k personal per game).

other than that, im alright with everything else. (tbs and DBs are almost a myth to
me hehe)

cuz only RN has some deck armor on...thus DB's do a lot of dmg..cuz you don't see
only RN ships...

and allmost ALL ships have BULDGE..thus TB's dmg is reduced....untill you break the
bulge...in wich case you can sink a BB4-5 in 3-4 torps..

TB's are anything but useless...ther great for ASW, ther great for small ships...and
as sad...after you break BB's buldge...BB is dead...OR help a Sub on your
team...break BB's buldge for it...or vice verse...eather way TB's ARE usefull

FYI you can eaven scout using TB's...5x more sight then DB's...tsk tsk

DB dmg is just fine, as for bombers only incrise is needed in TB's...a SMALL INCRISE
(leave MN out of it..they need a nerf not buff)

Do you seriously lose 2 vets a game... You must be doing something insanely wrong. My crew
death tests are showing that over 28 games I've lost approximately 4 vets -_-

Add crew GAINS. I wouldn't mind the crew loss IF my CV gained some crews.

ftrs sight range doesnt need a nerf, locals (how many times do we have to say this)
need to be lvl capped or removed

I do apreciate the idea of the thread, it's nice to see there are people concerned and
willing to do something about this, but 3 weeks without any feedback is starting to feel
like it was for show (I hope it's not, but it's starting to feel like it was).

It was supposed to be a quick fire solution suggestion thread... 3 weeks for feedback
sure doesn't seem "Quick"... I can understand if something came up and this can no longer
be quick... but please give us some info so we can know what to expect.

This is not a complaint... I just want to have some feedback to know if I can keep getting
my hopes up and go on trying to help, or I can just give up and continue leaving my CV
parked for most of the mont.
